A Tribute to our Great Founder, Lord Baden Powell.

February 22nd marks the birthday of Lord Robert Baden-Powell the founder of the Scout Movement. Coincidentally, B-P (born in 1857) and his wife Olave Baden-Powell (born in 1889), shared the same birthday.

Nearly all National Scout Associations throughout the world, celebrate this day as Founder's Day . It is considered a special day..., as well as an opportunity to learn more about BP's life and his work. His Writings remain inspiring to many and incredibly on phase with our times.

February 22nd is also celebrated by Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world as World Thinking Day or just Thinking Day. It is a day to think about the meaning of Guiding and Scouting and about other countries and cultures.

WEEKLY MEETING AND TRAINING DAY

Started from 18/6, our troop carries out weekly meeting(perjumpaan) and training day on every saturday for all troop members.
The activities are mainly based on scouts(pengakap muda) and seniors scouts(pengakap remaja) training syllabus.
SJK(C) Chung Hua Tampin will be the training venue for most of the time, unless you are informed that venue is changed to certain place for certain activity.

Time : 8.30am-12.00pm

For those senior scouts of form 4 or 5, you can come at 8am, scouters will be there before 8am, so that we can have our own time to rush for your log books.
If you have any tuition class within the time, you can inform scouters and ask for permission to go out for tuition class.
And for those who cant attend to the meeting and training, please kindly inform scouters earlier and leave any kind of message either on facebook or blog, as your responsibility as a scout member of our troop.


Rovers are encouraged to have your own activity during the meeting too. If your help is needed for scout and senior scout's activity, you will be informed earlier.


Your involvement is important to spread the scout spirit among swallow fortress.
Hope everyone of you will success and happy in scouting.

First of all, I would like to wish every members of Pulau Sebang 49th Scout Open Troop a very

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!



one and a half month ago, we started our new year 2011..

we have our new vision in this year..

and we are going to begin lots of activities which are main on training in this new year, either on scout skills or attitude.

Although we don't have much members as last 2 years, we should still continue our effort and spirit in this troop, which is still young.. ^^

let's me roughly introduce some activities and events here..

1. SJK(C) Chung Hua cub scouts koku session

~ wednesday fortnightly

~ 2.00-4.00 p.m.

~ Attention to all rover scouts above 18th years old, your help is needed.

2. Band training

~ who is interest in band playing (includes instruments of keyboard, guitar, bass guitar and also drum sets), you can contact us by leave ur name here or our page on facebook.

~ training will be held weekly at mr kuang's house (tmn clonlee)

~ it's trained for presentation in future, and also for your own interest, and it's free of charge!!

3. Scouts Creating A Better World - Green Scouting 2011 童军共创美好世界，迈向绿色童军运动。

~ organiser: MMU Rover Scout Crew.

~ it consists of  3 events, but you all are encouraged to take part in the event below only.

Green Run

Come join us for a good cause and help raise awareness towards the need to help our beloved Mother Earth.
Fees collected will contribute to charity funds for other Green Campaigns.
And what's more? There will be a Lucky Draw and exciting prizes will be waiting for you!

不好意思,为负责post新东西上来的我一直迟迟都没有负责...pai seh^^...想说的是今天15.3中午有一个会议,时间是1点,地点是在运达的那个老地方。记得啊！自己负责的东西一定要准备好...因为上次12.3的会议看见许多委员都好像不知道自己是负责什么,该做什么的,还很模糊,因为时间真的真的是不多了,大概是还剩11天吧,活动就要举办了...所以大家应该负责任一点,把自己负责的是做好...更重要的是“合作”精神,不要因为意见不合而吵架还是什么的...大家和和气气,再一次心平气和的研究及讨论就能顺利的把事情解决了^^..大家加油吧！^.^

《风云庚寅定乾坤，童军幻影聚燕城》 SCOUT CAMPFIRE 2010 之 15.3的会议

今天15.3的会议观察到有的人没有那颗心是想要去搞好这个活动的...真是感到失望...但是没关系,因为有些人还是有那颗心的...for example: me^.^...哈哈...说回正题...今天hiasan组的都讨论的还不错,都万事俱备了,只是看那些画旗的啊,还有看他们组的负责人(Cheok Lai Teng)分配其他它画方面的工作咯...然后明天要去培智小学看一下它舞台的尺寸,因为要布置舞台...希望他们可以顺利完成,如果要人手帮忙的话,就可以联络那些比较闲的ahli来帮忙你 ...接着到负责campfire组的,组长没来进行会议,所以主席就把工作交代给负责bendahari的Tan Wai Hong来帮忙及通知他...但是现在就连木材还有某些材料都还没有充实的准备好,有些都还不知道要去哪里拿...有点乱...整体来说今天的会议都没有那么的理想,除了hiasan有比较进步及好一点之外,其它的都好像还在原地,所以请大家必须要出席会议,这样才能够比较顺利的完成工作,有东西或意见的话就比较方便交代...接着就是unit hiasan & demo...这两个unit 大致上都是负责一样的工作的,只是hiburan是要多负责一个话剧而已...而demo呢...就是负责营火会当晚的campfire dance的,你们必须在台上带动台下的人一起跳舞,所以必须要很熟悉campfire dance...unit hiburan的也是要注意这一点...所以16/03(星期二),地點:scoutroom, 時間:4.30p.m., 練習campfire dance和討論話劇的細節,如果不是以上unit的ahli都可來参与練習和討論...接着就是17/03(星期三)開會地點:老地方,時間:2.00p.m.,half-U...記得通知你們的朋友啊^^...真的希望下一个会议大家都能够有更好的进展!大家加油啊!不要再拖拖拉拉啦!打起精神来!一切都是值得的!^.^

過后問他ACS Scout，他叫我問Mr.Tan Beng Siang，他講Mr.Tan負責全部比較懂。。。
問Mr.Tan，Mr.Tan講他去新加坡了，ACS Scout沒有人帶，所以校長不批。。。

首先要跟各位说声不好意思…因为时间不合的关系，所以我没有办法和大家一起筹备这个活动…但如果大家有什么需要我帮忙的地方就尽管告诉我…只要是在我范围之内的我能帮多少就多少…各位筹委会，真是辛苦你们了…好好加油…大家每次为了这个活动出来开会，可能甚至被父母骂，这样辛苦这样努力就是为了这一天，所以要告诉自己只许成功，不许失败！其实只要大家把自己的本分做好，要这个活动成功并不难…好好利用这次的机会发扬我们的团…好让所有不认识和不认同《普罗士邦第四十九童军公开团》的人，在这次的活动之后对我们团又更一步的了解和改变他们的想法！也可以借此机会让你们的父母相信你们是可以的！希望你们在筹备过程一切顺利，当然还有当天的活动能圆满结束!这个活动我肯定会出席，因为我要亲眼见证你们努力得来的成功！加油！

You all have done a very good and memorable kem fire (good concert as well)...

虎年新春晚会 ^^

农历新年快到了!!!这时我想发布个好消息~~~
主办单位：普罗士邦第四十九童军公开团领袖团
活动：新春联谊晚会
目的：让大家聚一聚、玩一玩~
日期：暂时定在2月20（星期六），也就是大年初七~ 是人日哦~ 哈哈~
时间：晚上七时正~
地点：应该会在我（阿罗）阿姨的新家...在运达花园里...我忘了什么门牌了~ 大家就在SCOUTROOM集合就行了~
服装：随便~（不需要太性感/隆重/夸张）
食物：BBQ 和火锅 （想吃什么特别的食材可以提出来~）
费用：应该会像大家收个大约RM5的伙食费，另外会送个新年的“虎”章~
必备物品：空空的肚子+真诚的新年祝福+堆满笑容的脸庞 （若想带新年礼物或大红包给我当然没问题!!!）
参与资格：凡49教练及团员~
节目：吃喝玩乐、交换徽章（收章狂）、观赏阿HOCK表演（唱歌、跳舞任你选...XD）[有什么意见可以提出来哦~]

祝大家新年快乐~ 虎年行大运~
学业有进无退~ 男的越来越MAN，女的越来越靓~
最重要的是大家身体健康、每一天都平安快乐...

FIRST AID COURSE 2009

There will be a first aid course at CHUNG HUA TAMPIN~
DATE: 23 JAN 2009
TIME: 1.00PM - 9.30PM

We have invited scouts from SMJKPS, SMKTB, SMKTI, and SMK Tunku Syed Idrus to join the course...
They are asked to register themselves at Chugn Hua at 1.oopm...
while all 49th scout members have to be at Chung Hua before 12.45pm...

Each participant has to pay RM10 for their lunch, dinner and certificate of participation...
hope all of us will learn something from this course...
